Opinions:D

What is your opinion about child labor?
At first, when I was reading the topics I didn't thought about choose this one, but then my grandma came into the kitchen and I remember the stories that she has been telling me for years about her infancy.
She was the middle child, has 6 younger siblings and 6 olders ones, and sadly she was choosed to be the housemaid. I think she was a type of slave in her house, because there was no consideration, and no love gestures. I know it's not like working outside, but I cannot understand how her mother do that to her. Every sibling went to school, everyone except her. And I think that's the part that most hurt her... she likes to learn and read a lot so she's always thinking about everything she lost, everything she could do if she had gone to school, how different her and her children's life would be.
She basically rised her younger siblings even when she was a little girl, and  and had to do take care about everything her mother had had to.
I'm not agree with child labor. Work isn't something that corresponse to them, it makes they responsables about something they dont have to be at that age. They have to play, learn, and go to school to decide by them self what they want to do in the future, grow at the time they need.

What is your opinion about killing stray dogs to prevent sanitary problems and animal over population?
It's a really horrible technique, I don't understand how some people can do this and think it's a good way to stop dogs crowd streets. Has no sense! They are on streets because people has no moral neither responsibility sense about this situation, and who pays for this? Dogs. If we think about it we can see that the problem will not stop in this way: someone buy or adopt a little dog, they're adorable when are puppies but the dog grow up and demand more food, more love, and space, so in this moment the dog isn't lovely anymore, the person throw the dog to streets, and the municipality kill it because it's the way they think the problem will stop, but the next day the same person adopts another dog and the problem never ends.

What's your opinion abot recycling?
I have been fighting about it with my family for years. I always have tried to take care of environment, wasting less water, electricity, and using less plastic too. Since childhood I have been closing water taps, unpluging electrical appliances that aren't in use, avoiding plastic bags, I usually use a glass bottle, and things like that. But at first no one took me serious in my family. As you can see I think recycling it's important :D

Now, we separate carton, glass and tetrapack. The problem is the recycling point on neighborhood that I live is movil, so usually we have to go to Recoleta, and sometimes it's difficult to find time:c

What is your opinion about tattoos? I like them, but I don't think I'll have one. There are really beautiful tattoos on internet, but the other way too, so people have to be so confident on the tatto guy to do it. I always think: what if he/she get it wrong? Even when I go to cut my hair I have this type of thoughts djdjdj, but hair grows, in the case of a tattoo it's more difficult.

My favourite TV show :)

Well, unlike my infancy (time when I saw every tv show that I could) I usually don't watch TV, I think because open TV doesn't have so much to offer and my parents never wanted cable TV. Now I have netflix so I think this will change a little -if I have time-
Anyways, I'll write about an old TV show. About when I saw it I'm not pretty sure because that was a lot of time ago, but I'll risk saying that was in 2007-2008. "The Last Airbender" was my evening landscape when I arrived from school, I remember myself going straight to turn on the TV.
It's an animated series of Nickelodeon Animation Studios released on February 2005 in United States, and on July 2008 in Latin America. (That means my calculus were right!)
The last Airbender (named "The Legend of Aang" too) it's situated in a fictional world where some people have the ability of manipulate one of the four nature's elements: water, earth, fire and wind, they're called benders. This Asian society of the XIX century it's afected by the dissapperence of the Avatar, the person who keep the balance in this world, that means between Water tribes, Earth Kingdom, Fire nation, and Winds nomads. So, since he's lost for 100 years the Fire nation attacked and started to take control of the others.
The story begins when two sibling of a water tribe, Katara and Sokka, finds a boy in the ice, this boy will start a travel to save his world, no without some problems and adventures.
About the cast, Zach Tyler Eisen is Aang's original voice, and Rene Pinochet his Spanish-speaking actor. Katara: Mae Whitman/Jessica Toledo,  Sokka: Jack DeSena/Sergio Aliaga.
There's a continuation but I haven't watched yet, I'll see The Legend of Korra on holidays, I hope so:c

Postgrades Studies

As I said in the last blog I'm not really sure about what will I do when I finished the career:c
I think about myself studying and learning more, but the thing is I'm not sure about what. I like a lot of things and I cannot choose. I haven't investigated so much (or anything) because I'm so lost about it. I hope with the years, and classes I would finally know what to do (with my life).
Well, about the basics I would like to study a postgrade abroad, I think take a postgrade here wouldn't be bad, Chile has good science but I think it's a really great opportunity to travel and know other countries.
To write this blog I search a little about the topic and I found some postgrades (of Uch) that call for my attention...
The one that I really liked was a school of science's postgrade, it's a part-time ph.D in Ecology and Evolutive biology, but I didn't found if as a biochemist I could postulate to:c  I really would like to study this ph.D, I love the biology, and the evolutive part is one of my favourites, with this postgrade I would dedicate to paleobiology! Other reason is that lately my friends started to ask me why I'm not studying something releated with animals or plants, that it's something that everyone knows I like, and I think they are right, so with this postgrade I could be closest to the conservation part.
It could be a postgrade in Botanics, but I have to search about it:)

My future job

I'm not pretty sure about what will be future job, (I'm seriously thinking that I will enter on a vocational crisis when I finish the career, I think I'm having it now) but in the future I think I would like to investigate (that's why I'm studying biochemestry). Well, right now I don't have something specific I want to investigate:c (I hope trough the career I could finally choose an area, there are some years left to think about it) but till know Neuroscience is a really interesting area for me. Neurodegenerative diseases maybe, there's a lot to do and reasearch, there's a lot that we could do to help others. So (in that case) I would study a major realeated to that.
I don't imagine myself working all the time in the laboratory, that's why I would love to travel a lot, and go to congresses on every part of the world.
Something I would really love is to be on a investigation releated to paleonthology, and be outdoor a season.
Right now I'm not really interested on the salary, I hope this never interfer on my job. I think this is not being realistic, because there's going to be a time when I will need it, but if the salary is enough to live I will be fine.
That was so difficult:c I'm not sure about anything.

Art

I have to say it, I don't know so much about art. In fact, the last time I was on an art class was on 8th grade. I don't even remember so much about it. But in my desperation my friend María José tried to help me (thank you!) an between the paintings that she showed me I chose: "The lovers"
The Lovers is a surreal painting of René Magritte, a Belgian painter. It's a serie of 4 paintings, all of them show the same two protagonist but there's a little change of the pose or in background.
The painting shows a couple kiss but they are not really touching, they are not really kissing each other, because both have their faces covered with white cloth.
I chose this one because I think is interesting that there's so many attempts of interpretation but the story behind is something really different. So many people believe it's a romantic painting, interpretations like a secret love, o that the lovers have not seen each other, o they have to hide of the society, but experts think the painting is explained in a traumatic episode that he suffered in his childhood. Her mother suicide when he was a teenager, and he witnessed how the dead body was took away from water with a white shirt covering her face.
"The Lovers" is now on the National Gallery of Australia.
I think Daniel could like this painting

Favourite movie

Grave of the Fireflies (Hotaru no haka, 火垂るの墓) is a japanese animated drama film produced by Studios Ghibli, and directed by his co-founder Isao Takahata.
It was released at the same time with "My neighbor Totoro", in a double premier on 1988. Althought the movie wasn't released in the western world till 1994.
This film is based on the autobiographical story (with the same name) of Akiyuki Nosaka, published on 1967, this talks about the experiences of Nosaka during the war.
This full-length film is set in the city of Kōbe, in Japan, during the second world war.
It tells about the difficult times that lives two siblings, called Seita y Setsuko, and their attempt pf survive in this hard period.
I didn't know so much about the cast, It's a animated film so I wasn't interested on this part, but I will tell you their names.
Tsutomo Tatsumi's voice was for the protagonist Seita
Setsuko's is Ayano Shiraishi, who was 4 years old at this time. Studios Ghibli recorded her voice first and then animated the scenes, something they don't commonly do.
Akemi Yamaguchi lent her voice for the siblings' aunt and Yoshiko Shinohara did it for their mother.
doctor's voice is Hiroshi Kawaguchi's.

I watched this movie two years ago, on january, I think. That because my little sister is a big fan of japanese amination. She's watching animes and japanese movies all the time, so she received a pack of studios ghibli's movies as gift from my parents. And a pair of weeks after Christmas we seized the television and started to saw them.

I love movies that removes something on yourself, that makes you think about it, and makes you feel something, and this movie totally done it. The film showed the harsh reality of a war, even when it was an animated film.
The history was so sad! I were all the time thinking how would it be if something like this happen closely to us.
I have to say it I cried, and a lot, the movie was so powerful! And meanwhile I was thinking that this was the saddest film in the world  my heartless sister laughed at me.

The best concert I've had

The best concert I've had attend it's the only one too (until now).
It was a concert of a Korean boy group that I listen a lot.  The name of the band is Seventeen. They are 13 boys in a group! It's the largest number of members in a Korean group until now. They are divided into sub-units in accordance with the specialty of each member. So there are 3 sub-units: Hip-Hop, Vocal, Dance. They are so adorable and happy, and unlike other Korean bands the write and produce every song.
The concert was on Movistar Arena on August 29th, the last year, and it was sooooo good.
I have to say it, attend wasn't easy, I spent all my savings to pay the tickets for me and my sister. I walked a lot searching for the tickets too because they were sold out in many of the points of sales. I was 11 hours outside Movistar Arena, and I was studying! because I had to take a test the next day.
I think I have never run so fast, we were 11 hours outside so when the staff opened the doors we were just interested in find a good place to see Seventeen. When we were in I was so excited, everyone was singing the songs (because the staff put some videos when we were waiting) with a big smile on their faces even when the concert hadn't started. I don't know how to describe how the atmosphere was... it was just incredible, everyone was so so happy, jamming every song and screaming with all they had, that it feels really good.
I'm a big fan of k-pop and I had the opportunity to go with my sister and one of my best friends, that's why I think I enjoyed so much.
I arrived my house at 3 am, and I was dead, I had no voice.
PD: I approved the test if you are thinking about this:D
